Working With Languages Podcast
With this podcast I aim to explore how people like us use their language skills to build a meaningful career.
When we think of working with languages we often think of translators and teachers – here I’d like to explore their work as well as the many other ways of integrating languages with the work we do.
Think of international and multicultural organisations where languages mean talking to each other, understanding each other, working together and achieving specific goals – be it on the restaurant floor or in the boardroom.
In each episode I will be talking to a guest who applies their languages in different ways and we will discuss why languages are so valuable in today’s job market, how they fit into different industries and roles, where they sit alongside AI, and how you can make languages a meaningful part of your career journey.
