Most of my work is in English. I work on English-language accounts with English-language clients.

Yet sometimes I work on German and Italian accounts, and it’s great because I know I can deliver the work and make a difference linguistically.

How well do I speak German and Italian?

I was raised bilingual German Italian, my mum is German and my dad is Italian. I grew up in Italy and spent all my childhood summers in Germany. My husband is German and we only speak German at home.

I’ve now been living in the UK for a number of years and became a citizen in 2018.

Recently an existing client asked me to help on a pitch for a German account, working on a very exciting brand and product. Their aim was the UK account and got to pitch also on the German one.
